An illustration done for Box of 6ix, a Toronto-based subscription box service that themes each of its boxes around a particular neighbourhood of Toronto, and recipients of that box will receive food, drink, lifestyle products, and homemade goods from local business in that neighbourhood.

Each box comes with an illustrated card and I was fortunate enough to get to design the one for West Queen West. I made sure to include the some of most prominent landmarks of the area: the Gladstone hotel, the Great Hall, and the Trinity Bellwood gates. In addition, I took care to showcase the various distinguishing features and activities that the neighbourhood has to offer; concerts, art galleries, the park, the residential architecture, etc. West Queen West is also known as "the art and design district" so I made sure to make my illustration colourful, creative, and full, in order to convey the artistic character of the neighbourhood.
